Tangerine® for Content Building

Since its start in 2012, Tangerine® has become a versatile solution used for many things like student assessments, classroom observations, coaching, surveys, project management, and research. Tangerine® is now being used for easy and quick content bundling and delivery.

With Tangerine, you can easily package different types of content, such as videos, audio, images, GIFs, and PDFs, right into your instruments. This ensures everything needed to view the content works well together, whether you're using a phone, tablet, or laptop.

Tangerine acts like a simple content manager. You can use it without being a technical expert or needing extra equipment. You can make training packages quickly using your existing materials, like videos and PDFs.

Embed Multimedia Content

Consider Data Consumption

For places with poor internet, Tangerine was made to work offline first. The initial install consumes 4.7 megabytes of data. As you add more content, the size might go up. But Tangerine is smart about updates. It only pushes the instrument updates to users, not the entire instrument, which saves data.

Don’t have internet? Instrument updates can also be made by “side-loading” the application.

Tangerine lets you create personalized learning paths for users. These paths work without needing the internet, so people can learn wherever they are. You can also include tests, and users can submit their answers when they get back online.

Using Tangerine, content designers can create multiple versions of the same instrument, with varying amounts of multimedia content embedded. For example, you could create a text-only version for users in rural areas with poor connectivity, a slightly richer experience for those in places where 3G or 4G coverage exists, and an even more engaging experience for those who have access to Wi-Fi. Even better, give the user the option of what version they would like to engage with, based on their needs and preferences.
